Description

In the 5th expansion to the best seller Carcassonne – the game of the year 2001 – players are given new opportunities to establish their influence in the Carcassonne region. Traveling merchants take their wares to the surrounding towns and monasteries. This means prosperity for all Meeples, the towns in the surrounding area grow to impressive sizes and elect their own mayors. Simple farmers become rich and build estates. The church tries to consolidate its influence by establishing abbeys.
